Copy Off Your Neighbor’s Paper

Here we go again. First we tell you to practice The Golden Rule, and now we seem to be suggesting the opposite. You’re right. In high school we were told to never look at our neighbor’s paper, whereas in business we’re encouraged to. Sam Walton said once that nearly all of his best ideas came from someone else’s store. He spent one day a week going to other shopkeeper’s stores looking for good ideas. Network marketers should do that too. Go to your sponsor’s meetings. Go to a strong distributor’s meeting. Learn however you can. One of the wonderful aspects of network marketing is that the normal competitiveness of the corporate world doesn’t exist. In network marketing it is possible for all players to win.

And not all great network marketing ideas will come from within your own industry. Go, for example to a Weight Watcher’s meeting and try to figure out why this is one of the most successful self-improvement programs around. Look for ideas you can adapt for your own meetings: regularly scheduled weekly meetings, weekly measurement of progress, an inspirational/educational message, commitment in the form of weekly dues, and more.

 

The Golden Rule Rules

THE ONLY WAY you can possibly experience long-term success in network marketing is if you live by The Golden Rule. Treat others as you would like them to treat you.
